Structural Systems Metcoe offers both I beam and tubular shaped extrusions. In both systems condensation gutters are an integral part of the extrusion. The following pages show the various sizes of both systems and depending on your requirements we can always add to them. Span of Members The span of a member will depend on the following parameters subject to the local area loading requirements.  1. Loading requirement (dead load, live load, wind load). 2. Requirements for deflection. 3. Spacing of the main members (rafters). 4. Slope. 5. Specific project requirements (for example, window washing concentrated loads).
